Amidst the Global Modular Housing Boom, an Arizona (U.S.) Distributor Plans to Partner with ZCS to Explore the New Blue Ocean of the North American Market
As global housing demand shifts toward "efficiency, green development, and flexibility," modular housing—with its core advantages of short construction cycles, controllable costs, and strong sustainability—is emerging as a "new necessity" in European, American, and emerging markets. According to industry reports, the size of the North American modular construction market is expected to expand at an annual rate of 12% over the next five years. As one of the fastest-growing states in terms of population in the southwestern U.S., Arizona has particularly robust demand for post-disaster emergency housing, new urban residences, and tourism supporting housing, making it a key market for modular housing enterprises to compete for. Against this backdrop, Mr. SAM, a senior distributor from Arizona, U.S., who first encountered ZCS-MODULAR HOUSE at the Vietnam International Building Materials Exhibition, made a special trip to ZCS’s headquarters in China to inspect the factory and discuss in-depth cooperation, injecting strong impetus into ZCS’s expansion into the North American market.

Previously, at the International Green Building Expo held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, ZCS-MODULAR HOUSE showcased its "Casita Series" foldable modular housing. This 37-square-meter unit features a fully functional layout including one bedroom, one living room, one bathroom, and an independent kitchen. When folded, it only occupies the volume of one standard container, and on-site assembly can be completed in just 4 hours—these core advantages immediately caught Mr. SAM’s attention.
With over a decade of experience in the industrial product sales sector and established offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Vietnam, Mr. SAM keenly recognized the high alignment between this product and U.S. market demand. He noted, “The construction cycle for traditional local housing often ranges from 24 to 48 months, while ZCS’s modular housing can shorten the delivery cycle to within 4 months and reduce construction waste by more than 70%. This fully complies with Arizona’s policy support direction for ‘green buildings’ and better meets local residents’ needs for ‘quick move-in’ and ‘on-demand expansion.’”
To further verify the product quality and production capabilities, Mr. SAM made a special visit to ZCS’s intelligent production base in China. Accompanied by the ZCS team, he conducted an in-depth inspection of the entire modular housing production line—from the precise cutting of wall materials by robotic arms and the pre-embedding of pipelines on the automated assembly line, to the pre-installation of interior decorations in a constant temperature and humidity workshop, and finally to the folding tests and quality inspections of finished modules. The standardized and refined operations at every step earned Mr. SAM’s high recognition of ZCS’s production capabilities. He commented, “I have visited 3 local modular housing factories in North America, and ZCS’s automation rate and quality control standards fully meet or even exceed international levels—especially the optimizability of the wall’s thermal insulation performance. Given Arizona’s hot summer climate, ZCS’s adoption of double-layer insulated glass and high-density thermal insulation cotton fully aligns with the ‘localized adaptation’ product philosophy, which is exactly the cooperative advantage we are seeking.”
During the subsequent cooperation negotiation meeting, the two parties conducted in-depth discussions focusing on North American market demand. Combining Arizona’s building codes, land policies, and local residents’ living habits, Mr. SAM proposed a cooperation plan: “First, establish a ZCS-MODULAR HOUSE sample exhibition hall to open the local market through ‘experiential marketing.’ We plan to set up a 100-square-meter sample exhibition hall in Phoenix (the capital of Arizona) to showcase ZCS’s foldable modular housing and ‘multi-module splicing solutions,’ allowing customers to intuitively experience the flexible space transformation—such as ‘one module expanding into a two-bedroom house’ and ‘three modules combining into a villa.’”

A ZCS official stated that Mr. SAM’s visit and discussions mark an important milestone for ZCS-MODULAR HOUSE’s entry into the North American market. “ZCS has always positioned its market layout with a ‘global perspective + localized services.’ This cooperation will not only enable ZCS’s modular housing to reach end customers in Arizona more quickly but also allow us to continuously optimize our products based on feedback from Mr. SAM, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent expansion into the entire North American market.”
In the future, as more “ZCS-MODULAR HOUSE” units make their debut in the North American market, they will provide a “Chinese solution” for the “efficiency and green development” transformation of the global housing industry.
